| Hawthorn 2 from 2 after great win in the west |
Hawthorn have continued it's good form of round 1 with a 15 point win over Fremantle at subiaco on saturday night. Hawthorn controlled the game for most of the match apart from letting a near 6 goal lead during the third quarter drop to under 2 goals by three quarter time. Hawthorn then kicked away again in the final quarter before the dockers slammed home the last four goals as hawthorn seemed to run out of legs but did enough to win by 15 points.
Sam Mitchell was again brilliant in the midfield with another best on ground performance. Youngsters Travis Tuck,Cyril Rioli and Clinton Young were also very good through the middle. Buddy Franklin and Jarrad Roughead both kicked 4 goals up forward.
The only downside for hawthorn were the injuries to dew, ladson and young. Dew will miss 4 to 6 weeks with a bad hamstring while young and ladson will be closely monitored during the week but should be right and would only miss one week at worse.
I have to mention the great hawthorn support behind the goals i was sitting there and we were very loud. A great turnout by us hawk supporters in W.A.
